Exactly. That's one of those things, like a sort of gay Godwin's rule. Soon as you start equating homosexuality with pedophilia or incest or bestiality or whatever else, you've completely rendered everything before that null and void.

I think we should ban heterosexuals from the military – there's a long history of heterosexual soldiers raping and abusing civilian populations, getting drunk and getting tattooed (hello, Saxby, WTF have you been?), and having affairs (I saw From Here to Eternity).
Adultery, alcohol abuse, etc. amongst soldiers started when hets began serving in the military. Pedophilia (soldiers raping children) was right in there too.
I wouldn't be shocked to learn that bestiality has occurred as well; if it hasn't, it seems most that letting gays serve openly in the military would suddenly unlock the barn door.
