I was appalled at the amateur "reporting," the half-truths she spouted (instead of reporting that Aristede, the democratically elected president of Haiti had been ousted by thugs and "escorted" out of Haiti by U.S. Marines, she said he "left Haiti and went to Africa.") Her work was shallow and self-serving; she talked incessantly about how much danger she was exposing herself to. I couldn't be happier that she and her colleague are free, but I'm not buying the image of the intrepid truth-seeker. Sorry.
