Obama monkey-man at Palin appearance

by Hanlon on October 12, 2008 at 7:25 pm

Sigh. I’m ashamed to say that this was held in my hometown. I’d have gone but I didn’t get a ticket in time.

It’s hard to believe that people like this exist, but there they are. And they’re proud of it.

This election has really scared me..because I have seen more and more people acting like and worse than this!

That might be the most depressing part. That’s just what people have been willing to do in front of the camera, I can’t imagine what’s going on behind closed doors.

As a Southerner, though also a liberal, I’ve seen this coming for years…the Republican party, in their eagerness to gain power decided years ago to encourage the extremists of the civil rights era to join their ranks…their racism is still there, I see it constantly while living in Mississippi…and few Republicans here and nationally are willing to stand up to their racist supporters…

As many problems as the Democrats may have, the shallowness of the national Republican party toward these members is so sad…where are the Rockefellers of the past? Even the Eisenhowers and Tafts…only to be replaced by the Helms and the Thurmonds
