So I missed this one, but on Tuesday McCain said he hadn’t had a chance to read Paulson’s plan.

Here’s the thing, though. Paulson’s plan is so goddamn short McCain could have read it while sitting on the crapper, and it was published on the 20th. He could have had someone read it to him over the phone, one page per day, and had a full day to think it over before the interview on Tuesday.
If McCain can’t be bothered in three days to read a two page plan, how well can he possibly lead?
